BLOCK SWAP : WHIMSICAL WOODLAND

We are SEW thrilled that you've chosen to join Block Swap at AASC!

Here's how Block Swap works: pick up your kit from our store as soon as you can and then get started! You'll need to create 9 blocks using only the fabric from your kit.

To ensure a successful swap, please follow these guidelines:

1) Create (9) 12.5” blocks. You can use any method you prefer for constructing your blocks! Whether it's traditional piecing, paper piecing, embroidery, or applique, feel free to mix it up with simple or intricate designs!

2) Utilize the fabrics in your kit. You’re not required to use every fabric in each block, but you can not add fabric from your own stash. The blocks you make can be different from one another! If you need extra fabric, all the items in the kits are available for purchase.

3) If you need assistance selecting your block design, our staff members are here to help you find the perfect option(s).

4) Don’t forget to invite your friends to join in on the fun, the more the merrier!

5) On  May 02 will meet at the store, will have the block swap party, where you will choose a block from the other participants and you will give one of yours to them. You are invited to bring a snack to share with your sewing friends.

*** If you can't join the fun on May 02, you still can be part of the fun, make sure to work on your block on time and drop them off at the store before the date, a staff member will swap them for you***
