JELLY ROLL TREE SKIRT
The Jelly-Roll Rug Tree Skirt will add a beautiful individualized look to your Christmas decor or give one as a special gift to cherished people on your list. Pre-cut Jelly Rolls, Katahdin and the fabric tube maker make this a fun and fast project!
What you need:
- Sewing machine in working condition with all its accessories (power cord, foot control, bobbins, presser foot)
- Sewing machine extension table (optional but highly recommended)
- Walking foot. This will help your machine feed trough the thickness of the fabric. (this is optional but highly recommended)
- Polyester thread, preferable a matching color depending on the jelly roll to use.
- 1 Christmas Jelly Roll of your choice, included in the price. (Make sure to pick it up from the store when you sign up for the class)
- 1 roll of Katahdin or batting 2.5 or 2.25 preferable (is easier to use)
- Clover fabric tube maker (optional, but highly recommended, it will ease and make the process faster)
- Ribbon or ties of your choice of color.
Preparation for the class:
Before the first class the jelly roll needs to be pick up from the store. (Ask an associate for specific selection). You will need to sew all the strips together on the short end on diagonal the same way you sew together binding.
