QUILTED VEST



Quilt coats have become extremely popular. However, we live in the couth, so we don't get to wear them as often as we may like. Instead, in this class you are going to make a quilted vest! Much more practical for Georgia climate.


Prerequisites:

Know how to operate your sewing machine and change settings if needed. This is very important to be able to use in this case a thicker material and bulcky seams.

Supply list:

*You will need your sewing machine in working condition and with all the accessories, including a walking foot if you have one.

*A finished quilt {without binding} that equals in size of the pattern fabric requirement. This can also be replace by a whole cloth quilt or pre quilted fabric.

* Separating zipper, or parka / jacket zipper {see pattern for lenght suggestion} 

* Pre made binding.

*Coordinating thread.

* Rotary cutter

*Fabric scissors

*Marking tools 

*Pins, clips.

*At least 12" ruler

*Pattern weights {optional but highly recomended}
