BEGINER FREE MOTION QUILTING
This class is for a basic quilting knowledge.
You will learn the basics of FMQ Free Motion Quilting on your home with your domestic sewing machine. We will practice doodling, prepping the machine and some basic designs. If you complete the Stay Focused pillow pattern. The instructor will show you how to practically apply the designs on a quilt with similar construction.
Designs you will learn: Meander, E's and L's, Loops, Waves and Maze.
You will need:
Your sewing machine, it is not necessary to have a big machine but needs to be in working condition with all the accessories and the free motion foot.
An extension table not obligatory but highly recommended.
5 12" square practice quilting sandwiches. (pre-order available at the store)
Thread, choose a color that will stand out on your fabric.
Marking tool (hera marker, frixion pen, chalk pencil/marker)
Plain paper, dry eraser board, led board or a tablet with a drawing app, this is to practice the doodling designs before the fabric.
Quilting Gloves
Optional but highly recomended : Stay focused pillow pattern (top must be completed and basted before the class)
