With this class you will learn foundation paper piecing technique while making a fun quilt "Sparkle Star Quilt Block".
Sewing Supply List:
▪ 12” It’s Sew Emma Sparkle Star Quilt Block Foundation Paper Pad
▪ Sewing machine in good working condition (power cord, foot control, bobbins, clear plastic pressure foot or open toe) We will only be using a straight stitch.
▪ Add-A-Quarter Plus Rulers (12”)
▪ Fabric glue stick
▪ Scissors
▪ Pins
▪ Seam ripper
▪ Wonder Clips (if you have them)
▪ Rotary Cutter
▪ Cutting Mat
▪ Wooden Seam Roller or Small Iron
▪ Additional sewing needles (80/12 or 90/14)
Fabric Requirements:
(large lap quilt/36 blocks): Choose 2 contrasting fabrics (light and dark). I used dark for the star and light for the background.
Background: Approx. 2.5 yards
Star: Approx. 2.5 yards Fat quarters: yield approx. 1 ½ stars
