Core Class : Beginning Quilting
We have heard from lots of folks that they would love to begin quilting, but just don't know where to start! We heard you and we developed a class JUST FOR YOU!
Join us for this 4-hour class where you will learn the basics of quilting and complete your first project!
You will learn how to:

Choose the best fabrics, needles, threads, and quilting supplies to get started.

How to prepare fabric for your project.
And, you will make a finished pieced quilt top in one class!
The class size is intentionally small so that you can have plenty of guidance along the way.
We will supply all the materials you will need to complete this project - cutting station, ironing station, scissors, thread, pattern, seam rippers, clips, pins, and more.
If you have a sewing machine that is in good working order, you are welcome to bring it. See attached notes about bringing your own. Click here for BYOM Supply List

| Skill Details: | *Pre-requisite : Core Class : Beginning Sewing* This class assumes you have some base knowledge on sewing. You may have limited piecing skills but you are aware of how to thread your/a machine and the very basics of how a machine works. If you do not have these skills sign up for Core Class: beginning sewing first. |
| Materials Included: | Fabric and thread for the quilt top, all incidental tools and supplies needed to complete the project. OPTIONAL: Sewing machine rental is available. |
| Requirements: | The only requirement to sign up is a willingness to learn how to piece a quilt top. |
