Atlanta & Augusta Sewing Center is seeking outgoing, self-motivated individuals who love working with people to join our growing team. Do you have a passion for sewing, quilting, or embroidery? Are you looking for a fun and creative work environment? Then we want to hear from you!
We are now hiring full and part-time Sales Support Associates for all locations.
As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Helping creative customers find the perfect fabric, notions, machines, and machine accessories
- Help creative sewing enthusiasts meet their goals by learning, demonstrating and selling fresh and innovative sewing techniques, machines and related products.
- Create inspiring merchandise displays and samples.
- Continuing professional product education
- Promoting a positive, safe working and shopping enviroment while fostering a sense of community.
- Demonstrate sewing features to generate, track and close machine sales leads.
Requirements:
- Positive, can-do personality.
- Self-starter, team player, and problem solver.
- Organized and creative.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work under stress.
- Sales and retail service experience preferred.
- Sewing/Embroidery knowledge preferred.
- Able to shift gears in fast paced retail environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and be able to be on your feet for most of the day.
