If you are new to sewing or a seasoned expert, this class is for you. Every other month you will learn new sewing techniques and create a fast & fun new project with Vivian!

Each month we will make a new paper-pieced block to coordinate with the seasons/holidays. This is a great way to learn paper-piecing, practice your skill, and make something adorable in the process. Stitch With Us every first Friday of the month. The Smocking Arts Guild of America (SAGA) invites you to become a part of our informative and educational international organization for sewing enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. SAGA is a non-profit organization that will provide you with exciting new ideas, expert instruction and a way of staying in touch with others in the world of smocking, heirloom sewing and the related needle arts. You will have an opportunity to attend Conventions, participate in Educational Programs and Courses, such as Artisan, Smock Alongs, and SAGA Stitches while learning effective tips & techniques to improve your skills. You will also receive SAGANews, our quarterly magazine filled with designs, information, creative ideas, convention information, chapter news, and chapter activities with articles and projects designed to help you learn new smocking techniques or enhance your old ones.

Join the QOV ladies every third Tuesday of each month to create A Quilt of Valor? (QOV). What is a QOV.....it is a quality, handmade quilt that is machine or hand quilted. It is awarded to a Service Member or Veteran who has been touched by war. The Quilt says unequivocally, ?Thank you for your service and sacrifice in serving our nation.?

My First Quilt This three-part series will meet every week on Saturday to learn all the basics of quilting. You will learn not only how, but why things are done along with terminology and techniques. A minimum of one quilt top/project. Your first quilt will be made with fabric of your choice but is recommended to make your selection after the first class. Requirements: Students need to bring and know how to use his/her machine and have at least basic knowledge of sewing. Supplies needed for this class includes cotton thread, needles, bobbins, rotary cutter or scissors and pins. Instructor will furnish fabric for first class use as well as the pattern and a supply list for future sessions.
